• Execute procurement activities, supplier management, and contract awarding.
• Support development and implementation of commodity group and sourcing strategies.

• Organize and conduct supplier workshops and meetings.
• Maintain and analyze procurement KPIs and master data; perform price and benchmarking.

As a Strategic Buyer (m/f/d), you will implement the procurement strategy for assigned commodity groups and/or suppliers in close coordination with the department manager and corporate procurement. You will ensure smooth procurement processes, effective supplier management, and the awarding of contracts.

The position is within the Procurement Department, Strategic Procurement Division, working flexible hours. This is a permanent full-time position.

This is what you bring to the team:

Completed vocational training with several years of professional experience; alternatively, a certified business administrator, technician, master craftsman, or specialist qualification with relevant experience; or a bachelor's degree, preferably in business administration, logistics, commerce, or electrical engineering

Experience in procurement and purchasing environments, including knowledge of contract law and negotiation techniques

Ideally, experience with supplier audits and basic knowledge of common quality management tools

Basic knowledge of systems such as Bay-2-Quote, BOM Connector, N5, CAQ, Savis, Doxis, or similar applications

Advanced English language skills and strong PC and IT application proficiency

Analytical, structured, and results-oriented working style

Initiative, strong communication and negotiation skills, assertiveness, and the ability to work effectively in a team

Job requirements

Your daily responsibilities include:

Execution of procurement activities, supplier management, and contract awarding

Support in the development and implementation of commodity group and sourcing strategies

Participation in the expansion and enhancement of supplier management processes

Evaluation of suppliers and, where necessary, preparation of escalation measures

Support in the planning, execution, and optimization of strategic purchasing activities

Assistance in organizing and conducting supplier workshops and meetings

Maintenance and analysis of procurement-related KPIs and master data, as well as conducting price and commercial benchmarking

Preparation of reports, presentations, and decision-making documents

Support in the preparation and coordination of supplier audits

Close internal and external communication with suppliers and other functional departments
