Zusammenfassung

Salesfive Consulting GmbH is expanding its internal data team and seeks a Junior Business Intelligence Manager to enable data-driven decisions across the organization. You will mentor under the Senior Manager AI & BI Solutions Architecture and own dashboards, reports, and data models for Controlling and Management.

You will work with dbt, Tableau, BigQuery, and cloud platforms, driving data quality and governance while growing your BI capabilities in a collaborative, international environment.

Qualifikationen

• Initial experience with SQL and strong interest in data modeling; familiarity with dbt or similar ELT tools is a plus.
• Interest in or first experience with BI/visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
• Basic Python skills and interest in cloud data platforms (e.g., Google Cloud, BigQuery, Cloud Run)
• Structured, ownership-driven working style and strong communication skills with business stakeholders (Controlling, Finance, Account Management)
• Ideally some experience in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment (start-up, consulting, or similar)
• Excellent communication skills in German and English

Aufgaben

• Build and maintain dbt Core data models (Jinja-SQL) on our BigQuery-based BI platform
• Own and evolve Tableau dashboards and group-wide HTML reports for Controlling, Project Controlling, Management, and other stakeholders
• Ensure data quality through dbt tests, troubleshooting failed tests, and validation routines for group-wide exports
• Translate stakeholders’ business questions into governed, well-documented data products
• Contribute to the semantic layer and metric definitions, and keep technical/business documentation up to date
• Support the release workflow (PRs, pre-merge validation) following established data engineering practices
• Optionally support AI-related initiatives (e.g., preparing data for agentic-enterprise projects) as capacity allows

Your new workday:

As a Junior Business Intelligence Manager, you will join our internal data team to enable data-driven decisions across the entire organization. You will closely collaborate with our Senior Manager AI & BI Solutions Architecture, who will mentor and support your growth. Your role includes responsibility for dashboards, reports, and data models used by Controlling, Management, and various departments across the group. Over time, you will take full end-to-end ownership for your own stakeholders and deliverables.
