DKB Code Factory is seeking a Junior Android Developer to help build a mobile banking app for small and mid-sized businesses. You will work with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android technologies to create features that improve everyday banking experiences.

You will collaborate with experienced teammates, contribute to technical decisions, and gradually own features from development to release, growing your engineering skills in a product that makes a real difference.

Formación

• Android development experience: Around 1-3 years of hands-on experience building native Android applications, or equivalent experience gained through internships or personal projects.
• Kotlin knowledge: A solid understanding of Kotlin and familiarity with Jetpack Compose and modern Android development practices.
• Android fundamentals: Understanding of Android architecture components, MVVM, and asynchronous programming with Kotlin Coroutines.
• API integration: Experience working with RESTful APIs and Git-based development workflows.
• Quality mindset: You care about writing clean, maintainable code and are eager to improve your testing and debugging skills.
• Collaborative approach: You enjoy solving problems with others, are open to feedback, and communicate confidently in English.
• Bonus points for: Experience with automated testing frameworks such as JUnit and Espresso; Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and mobile app release processes; Knowledge of Material Design guidelines and Google Play Store deployment; Experience with Java or working in Agile/Scrum teams; German language skills.
