Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Many years of experience in Quality or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of preventive quality tools, Core Tools, and QMS methodologies.
• Experience in Manufacturing Engineering and industrialization processes, preferably in Aerospace.
• Able to explain complex topics clearly to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop a Quality Mindset & Behaviour within Manufacturing Engineering to support a proactive 'right first time' approach.
• Ensure implementation and application of Quality standards to processes to prove compliance.
• Define applicable quality requirements and maintain related procedures and standards.
• Adapt and create procedural documentation; support QMS implementation; act as Process Owner for FU.IN.03.
• Implement and maintain a Quality Performance Management System including audits, KPIs, and maturity gates.
• Foster root cause analysis and corrective actions after Non-Conformances.
• Promote process adherence and develop new processes for robustness and maintainability.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Quality Mindset & Culture: Develop a Quality Mindset & Behaviour within Manufacturing Engineering to ensure a proactive “right first time” and “zero defect” approach using Core Tools.
• Process & Standard Compliance: Assure the implementation and application of Quality standards to processes to prove compliance and provide confidence to the Customer.
• Industrialization Quality Requirements: Ensure proper quality in the industrialization of new products by defining applicable quality requirements and maintaining associated procedures and standards.
• QMS & Process Ownership: Adapt/create procedural documentation, support QMS implementation throughout Manufacturing Industrialization, and act as Process Owner for FU.IN.03.
• Quality Performance Management: Implement and maintain a Quality Performance Management System, including audits, Surveillance, KPIs, and Maturity/Quality Gates.
• Root Cause & Non-Conformance Analysis: Foster root cause analysis, completion of corrective actions, error prevention, and lessons learnt after Non-Conformances in deliverables.
• Process Adherence & Robustness: Promote process adherence in Manufacturing Engineering or create new processes as needed to ensure robustness and maintainability of industrialization.

Desired skills and qualifications

• Education: Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience: Many years of experience in Quality or Manufacturing Engineering (with knowledge of Quality activities).
• Quality Methods: Strong knowledge of preventive quality tools, Core Tools, and Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Quality Methodologies Aircraft Standards.
• Process Knowledge: Experience in Manufacturing Engineering and industrialization processes within project lifecycle phases, preferred in the Aerospace sector.
• Technical Communication: Proven capacity of explaining complex technical topics clearly to different stakeholders.
• Personal Competencies: High degree of proactivity, teamwork, interaction skills, influence, and empathy.
• Language Skills: English and German skills are mandatory (both written and spoken).
• Travel Flexibility: Willingness to perform occasional business trips as required by programme activities.
