WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The BOXER 8x8 vehicle armoured vehicle has been developed in a joint co-operation Programme between Germany and the Netherlands by the international consortium ARTEC GmbH in Munich, Germany.

ARTEC is a joint-venture of KNDS Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG, Rheinmetall Military Vehicles GmbH and Rheinmetall Defence Nederland B.V. It is the prime contractor responsible for the BOXER Programme, the co-ordination of series production and the focal point for export opportunities. Annual sales are between 300 and 400 million EUR and as of May 2024 more than 1,200 BOXER vehicles have been contracted. Further major projects are on the agenda.

• Management of proposals, i.e. coordinating and issuing proposals to official services (e.g. OCCAR, NSPA and BAAINBw) representing our customers.
• Management of contracts, including the negotiation of new contracts and the amendment of existing contracts.
• Coordination of terms and conditions within the joint-venture. Negotiation of terms and conditions with official services.
• Providing input for the relevant ARTEC reports, monitoring and updating of status summaries.
• Point of contact for commercial / legal matters at ARTEC.
• Assisting the Commercial Manager in preparing proposals for new business opportunities (export).

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

• Bachelor / Master of Business Administration, Law.
• Professional experience in the preparation of proposals and the negotiation of contracts, preferably with a solid legal background
• Work experience in the defence sector is an advantage
• Team skills and good oral and written communication skills in English and German
• Competent computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Structured and analytical way of working
• Pro-active and empowering way of working
• Willingness to travel and work in a multinational team
