Zusammenfassung

Elekta is seeking an Atlassian/ Jira Cloud administrator to lead the design, deployment and governance of Atlassian applications at our Crawley HQ. The role emphasizes balancing agile execution with strong governance, vendor management and budget oversight across IT operations.

You will collaborate with PMO and IT Services, support rollout and user adoption, and maintain SDLC and access control policies for Jira Cloud in a medium/large deployment environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelors in Information Technology or a related field, or proven ability in these areas.
• Demonstrable knowledge of Atlassian products with emphasis on Jira Cloud in medium/large deployments.
• Experience with agile/lean approaches and culture.
• Balancing enabling agile teams with governance frameworks for Jira usage.
• Vendor management experience.
• Experience managing IT operations and budgets is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Managing and implementing the design, deployments, operational performance and support of Atlassian software applications with a focus on Jira Cloud.
• Leading the overall evaluation, configuration, and deployment of enhancements to applications including apps and integrations, incorporating feedback received from streams within Process & Tools, business functions, SMEs, user groups and development teams.
• Supporting internal software applications roll-out and user adoption in business functions.
• Collaborate with other functions (e.g. PMO and IT Services) to support delivery and harmonise the overall support process, including incident and access request management, identifying opportunities to optimise and shift-left.
• Governance documentation detailing the SDLC for the solution.
• Access model detailing the Roles & Permissions.
• License and maintenance documentation.
• Initiating and supporting with application assessments, including security, system validation architecture, infrastructure, procurement and data privacy as needed.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelors in Information Technology or similar area, or other relevant degree, or proven ability to work within these areas.
• Demonstrable knowledge of Atlassian products with particular emphasis on administration and support of Jira Cloud in a medium/large deployment is a must.
• Experience working in and an appreciation of agile/lean approaches and culture.
• Understanding the balance between empowering agile/lean teams and providing governance frameworks when using tools such as Jira.
• Vendor management.
• Experience managing both IT operations and investment budgets would be a bonus.
