Java Developer (m/f/d) – Cloud & System Integration

Your mission
Do you already have several years of development experience and want to take the next step—taking on more responsibility, delving deeper into architectural topics, and actively helping to shape systems?
Then this role might be a good fit for you:
- You analyze existing applications and further develop them technically
- You implement new backend components using Java (e.g., Quarkus)
- You develop and integrate synchronous (e.g., REST/JSON) and asynchronous interfaces (e.g., Kafka) into existing system landscapes
- You work on connecting and integrating legacy and new systems
- You assist with integration and system testing
- You regularly coordinate requirements with customers and business departments
- You actively participate in agile processes (sprint planning, reviews, user stories)
- You contribute to technical design and architecture topics
Your profile
- You have several years of experience (approx. 3–5 years) in software development using Java
- You have experience with APIs and modern backend architectures
- You also have basic hands‑on experience with cloud technologies (e.g., Azure)
- You have knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, DB2)
- You have experience with Git and common development processes (e.g., code reviews)
- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito) is a plus
- You have previously contributed to business and technical concepts
- Knowledge of bill of materials (BOM) systems, e.g., from mechanical or automotive engineering, is helpful but not required
