Job summary

Zertificon Solutions is looking for a seasoned Java developer to join our security-focused team in Berlin. You will build and maintain containerized microservices, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and push bleeding-edge encryption product ideas into production.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years in a development team with delivered solutions/products.
• At least 2 years of practical Java experience, Java11/17/21 is common.
• Deep knowledge of software architectures: monoliths and microservices.
• Experience with security concepts: PKI, S/MIME, X.509, PGP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain containerized microservices in Java (or other languages).
• Collaborate with team and internal stakeholders; coordinate with R&D teams.
• Contribute to architecture alignment and prevention of blockers in development.
• Explore new technologies and contribute to bleeding-edge product development.

Together with the team, proactively develop and plan our enterprise products, finding new ways and solutions to create bleeding-edge products, expanding our position on the market Analyze the possible issues or blockers within the development strategy and plan and act in prevention Develop a deep understanding of the team/products capabilities and act as an effective coordinator with the team interacting with internal stakeholders Align your teamwork with the other RND teams to make sure that your product and it's components fit into the overall development architecture Be part of a cross functional team, not shying away from endeavors into new technologies and thought patterns

You have successfully worked in a development team for at least 4 years and successfully managed to deliver solutions and products with that team You have at least 2 years of practical experience working with Java. We work mainly with Java11/17/21 You have deep knowledge and understanding of software architectures like monoliths and microservices. You have experience with security, e.g. PKI, S/Mime, OpenPGP, X.509 Certificates, PGP Keys Basic proficiency in Linux commands ANSI Shell, Bash Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Data, Integration NATS/RabbitMQ/Kafka Docker, Kubernetes Experience with microservice architecture Experience with monolithic applications Gradle/Maven Software Testing Methodologies You have a good level on English (at least B2) Будет плюсом: Ideally, you already have knowledge about Email, SMTP, Java Mail and Bouncycastle
