Zusammenfassung

Orbital Critical Systems (CAF Group) is seeking IT Systems & Network Engineers to join our on-site teams in Germany, working directly on Airbus IT, cybersecurity and infrastructure projects.

Locations include Hamburg region, Bayern and other sites across the country. Relocation and language training are provided, with a permanent German contract and long-term projects; English proficiency at C1 is mandatory, German language skills are a plus, and EU citizenship is required.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Telecommunications, or similar.
• Experience in systems and network administration.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals (Airbus/BSI guidelines are a plus).
• Exposure to DevOps tools or automation.
• Experience with monitoring tools.
• Willingness to work in rotating schedules and occasional travel.
• C1 English mandatory.
• German C1 (a plus).
• EU citizenship required.

Aufgaben

• Administer and support Windows/Linux systems, networks and Airbus on-prem infrastructures.
• Configure and maintain firewalls, routing, switching, and cybersecurity controls.
• Support the implementation of Airbus and BSI/CERT security standards.
• Participate in DevOps-related tasks (automation, deployments, CI/CD support).
• Automate tasks using PowerShell, Bash or Python.
• Collaborate with Airbus teams, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting and documentation for operational environments.
