Orbital Critical Systems (CAF Group) is seeking IT Systems & Network Engineers to join on-site teams in Germany, working on Airbus IT, cybersecurity and infra projects.

Locations include Hamburg region, Bavaria and other sites across the country. The role offers a permanent German contract, relocation support and language training.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience in systems and network administration.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals (Airbus/BSI guidelines a plus).
• Experience with DevOps tools or automation.
• Experience with monitoring tools.
• Willingness to work rotating schedules and travel.
• C1 English mandatory; German C1 is a plus.
• EU citizenship required.

Aufgaben

• Administer and support Windows/Linux systems, networks and Airbus on-prem infrastructures.
• Configure and maintain firewalls, routing, switching, and cybersecurity controls.
• Support the implementation of Airbus and BSI/CERT security standards.
• Participate in DevOps-related tasks (automation, deployments, CI/CD support).
• Automate tasks using PowerShell, Bash or Python.
• Collaborate with Airbus teams, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting and documentation for operational environments.

What You Will Do
