Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking Data Center Technicians to join our Frankfurt-based team. You will help ensure data center availability by diagnosing and repairing hardware and network issues, performing root cause analysis, and participating in on-call rotations to maintain 24/7 operations.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for Data Center Technicians to join our rapidly expanding team. The position will help ensure overall availability and reliability to meet or exceed defined service levels of data center operations. This position involves hardware and network diagnostics followed by physical repair and may include participation in an on-call rotation.

DATA CENTER OPERATIONS (DCO)

This position involves:

• Diagnosing hardware and network problems followed by physical repairs
• Troubleshooting events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Performing root cause analysis of equipment failures
• Manual handling and lifting of equipment may be required (weight limits in accordance with regulations)
• Working rotating shifts (morning/late/night) as well as weekends to maintain the 24/7 data center environment
• On-call rotation reaction to off-duty emergency calls
