Zusammenfassung

ICEYE is seeking an IT Site Engineer for our Berlin office to provide hands-on IT support across global manufacturing sites. You will maintain desktops, networks, and local infrastructure and work closely with the global IT team to ensure uptime.

In this role you will manage device provisioning, IAM access, and on-site incident resolution, while documenting procedures and contributing to continuous improvement in a fast-growing hardware environment.

Aufgaben

• Provide day-to-day IT support for ICEYE employees globally, troubleshooting endpoint, access, and secure communications issues.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot secure communication platforms and associated endpoint configurations.
• Manage device provisioning, endpoint lifecycle operations, patching, and MDM configurations across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
• Administer user access, SSO assignments, and permissions management using IAM platforms including Okta.
• Create and maintain operational documentation for IT procedures, endpoint configurations, and issue resolution workflows.
• Support enterprise networking and secure connectivity troubleshooting across VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and related infrastructure.
• Collaborate with global IT and stakeholder teams to ensure operational continuity and a high standard of user support.

Why this role matters:

You will provide critical, hands-on IT support for our global manufacturing sites, ensuring operational continuity and team productivity.

As the primary on-site IT presence for our new and growing manufacturing facilities, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of all local IT systems—from office workstations and meeting rooms to the crucial network and computing infrastructure on the manufacturing floor. You will be an experienced IT engineer, capable of independently handling a wide variety of technical challenges.

As a key member of the global IT team, you will blend dedicated local support with broader operational responsibilities, contributing to the resolution of IT issues for our worldwide staff via our central IT Service Desk.

Your day-to‑to‑day responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day IT support for ICEYE employees globally, troubleshooting endpoint, access, and secure communications issues
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot secure communication platforms and associated endpoint configurations
• Manage device provisioning, endpoint lifecycle operations, patching, and MDM configurations across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments
• Administer user access, SSO assignments, and permissions management using IAM platforms including Okta
• Create and maintain operational documentation for IT procedures, endpoint configurations, and issue resolution workflows

What we’re looking for

Your day‑to‑day responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on support for local IT systems including endpoints, operating systems, printers, and meeting room technology
• Maintain and troubleshoot manufacturing IT infrastructure, including Linux‑based systems and local network connectivity
• Resolve global IT support requests via Jira Service Management, contributing to shared service desk operations
• Manage user access and permissions using IAM tools, and maintain clear documentation for site systems and processes

Must haves:

• Proven experience in hands‑on IT support, field engineering, or systems administration
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and experience resolving connectivity issues
• Experience supporting office IT equipment, collaboration tools, and service desk platforms
