Jobtailor is looking for an experienced QA lead to drive test strategy, planning, and execution across multiple teams. You will mentor junior testers, collaborate with product and development teams, and ensure quality standards are met throughout the SDLC.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
• Expertise in test planning, design, and execution.
• Experience conducting peer reviews and mentoring junior testers.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps and JIRA.
• Exposure to test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to pass required background screening.
• Employees must provide their own reliable internet if working a remote/hybrid position.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• No visa sponsorship or STEM OPT extensions provided.

• Lead feature-level test planning aligned with business and technical requirements.

• Identify testing risks, dependencies, and gaps early in development.
• Conduct and facilitate peer reviews of test artifacts.

• Ensure adherence to QA standards, methodologies, and documentation practices.
• Execute functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Manage defect identification, documentation, tracking, and validation.
• Validate defect fixes and production deployment readiness.
• Act as primary QA representative for assigned functional teams.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Developers.
• Participate in planning ceremonies, backlog refinement, and release discussions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
