Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor sucht eine erfahrene/*en IT-Projektmanager*in im Bereich Warehouse Management System (WMS) in Nordrhein-Westfalen. Sie beraten Geschäftsführung und Kunden zu WMS-Themen, steuern Projekte von Planung bis Evaluation und koordinieren die Zusammenarbeit zwischen Logistik- und Software-Partnern.

Zu den Aufgaben gehören Analyse, Anforderungsdefinition, Prozessoptimierung und die Sicherstellung effizienter Informationsflüsse. Reisebereitschaft wird erwartet.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ Jahre Berufserfahrung als IT-Projektmanager oder Teammitglied im WMS-Bereich.
• Abgeschlossene berufliche Ausbildung (z. B. Speditions- und Logistikfachkraft) oder eine ähnliche Qualifikation.
• Kenntnisse in Logistik und operativen Prozessen, insbesondere Lagerbetrieb.
• Erfahrung in Analyse, Optimierung und Implementierung von Warehouse-Management-Systemen.
• Erfahrung mit Datenbanken und SQL-Abfragen wünschenswert.
• Gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten, analytisches Denken, Eigeninitiative und Teamgeist.
• Bereitschaft zu gelegentlicher Reise.

Aufgaben

• Ansprechpartner für Geschäftsführung und Kunden in allen WMS-Belangen, Beratung und Unterstützung bei Projekten.
• Unterstützung und Anleitung für Projekte und Anforderungen.
• Eigenständige Steuerung von Ausschreibungen und Implementierung neuer WMS-Projekte von Planung bis Evaluation.
• Analyse von Prozessen, Anforderungsdefinition und kontinuierliche Optimierung des WMS.
• Planung, Steuerung und Monitoring von Projekten unter Berücksichtigung Zeit, Ressourcen und Zielerreichung.
• Koordination zwischen Logistik und Software-Partnern für einen reibungslosen Informationsfluss.
• Nutzung von Datenanalysen zur Prozessoptimierung und Entwicklung innovativer Lösungen.

Jobbeschreibung

• Point of contact and advisor for management and customers on all WMS-related matters
• Support and guidance for projects and requirements
• Independently manage tenders and the implementation of new WMS projects from planning through evaluation
• Analyze processes, define requirements, and continuously enhance the warehouse management system
• Plan, manage and monitor projects, taking time, resources and target achievement into account
• Coordinate between logistics and software partners to ensure smooth information flow
• Use data analysis to optimize processes and develop innovative solutions for greater efficiency and quality

Requirements

• Solid (2+ years) professional experience as an IT project manager or team member in the WMS field, ideally in logistics services
• Completed vocational training (e.g., freight forwarding and logistics clerk) or a similar qualification is an advantage
• Knowledge of logistics and understanding of operational processes, particularly logistics and warehouse operations, including system support
• Experience in analysis, optimization and implementation of warehouse management systems
• Experience with databases and SQL queries is desirable
• Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, initiative and team spirit
• Willingness to travel occasionally
