Job summary

Vsquared in Aachen is seeking a hands-on ERP/SAP consultant to design business processes across procurement, sales, accounting and controlling, coordinating with internal teams and external partners. You will ensure proper documentation and alignment with go-live plans.

You gather requirements, translate them into specifications, and plan SAP projects and releases, including testing and cutover. You will configure SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, manage integrations, and coordinate partners to

Qualifications

• At least three years of ERP experience and involvement in an ERP implementation or go-live.
• Strong SAP S/4HANA experience, ideally Cloud Public Edition.
• Solid understanding of API-based integrations and ERP data structures.
• Experience with process documentation and tracing report figures to source data.
• Analytical, structured, detail-oriented and able to explain complex topics to colleagues from different functions.
• Ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships and manage competing priorities.
• Fluent German (C1) and English.

• You coordinate implementation partners, provide detailed specifications and check their deliverables against requirements.
• You ensure that material, supplier and cost center master data is accurate for reporting.

Job description

• You design business processes with the relevant internal teams across procurement, sales, accounting and controlling, as well as external partners while ensuring proper documentation.
• You gather requirements, prioritize them by value and turn them into specifications the implementation can be built on. You reject or defer requests when their benefit does not justify the effort.
• You plan SAP projects and releases, including testing, cutover and follow-up on whether teams use the new processes.
• You configure our SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition yourself, including business configuration, roles and authorizations, output determination and data migration.
• You specify integrations between SAP and surrounding systems, including our in-house operations platform. You define which data moves in each direction, what triggers the transfer and how failures are handled.
• You coordinate implementation partners, provide detailed specifications and check their deliverables against the requirements.
• You ensure that material, supplier and cost center master data is accurate, as reporting depends on it.

• You have at least three years of experience with ERP systems and have supported an ERP implementation or major change through go-live.
• You bring strong SAP S/4HANA experience, ideally with the Cloud Public Edition. You understand its release cycles, extensibility model and standard-process approach.
• You have a solid technical understanding of API-based integrations and ERP data structures. You can assess technical proposals and discuss them with developers.
• You have experience with process documentation, including exceptions, and understand how ERP data feeds into reports. You can trace report figures back to their source data.
• You work analytically and in a structured way, pay close attention to detail and communicate complex technical topics clearly to colleagues from different functions.
• You build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels and manage different expectations and priorities confidently.
• You communicate fluently in German (min. C1) and English.
