Job summary

Knauf Information Services GmbH in Germany is seeking a seasoned SAP EWM consultant to drive global warehouse and logistics processes. You will advise on process design, translate needs into SAP EWM solutions, and coordinate testing with cross-functional teams.

The role requires strong SAP EWM experience, knowledge of SD/MM/PP/TM, and collaboration with international stakeholders. Travel may be involved as part of Knauf's global IT strategy.

Qualifications

• Substantial SAP EWM consulting experience in-house or with a consultancy.
• Strong understanding of warehouse, yard-management, warehouse-automation and transportation-management processes.
• Knowledge of SAP SD, MM, PP and TM; ABAP knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive the continuous improvement of global SAP-based warehouse and logistics processes.
• Advise stakeholders on process design and translate requirements into SAP EWM solutions.
• Configure and customize SAP EWM, coordinate connected systems and manage testing.
• Define technical specifications and development standards in collaboration with developers and business teams.
• Manage lifecycle and update strategy of SAP EWM-based solutions and explore new technologies.

What you'll do

• Drive the continuous improvement of global SAP-based warehouse and logistics processes, helping shape efficient, scalable solutions across Knauf
• Advise business stakeholders on process design and translate operational requirements into robust SAP EWM and related IT solutions
• Configure and customise SAP EWM, coordinate connected systems, and manage module, integration and user-acceptance testing to ensure solution quality
• Define technical specifications, including development standards, design patterns, test cases and scenarios, in close collaboration with developers and business teams
• Manage the lifecycle and update strategy of SAP EWM-based solutions while identifying new technologies and innovations that strengthen logistics operations

Who you are

• Bring substantial SAP EWM consulting experience gained in an in-house or consulting role within an international environment; comparable SAP WM experience with strong technical expertise is also welcome
• Combine a strong understanding of warehouse, yard-management, warehouse-automation and transportation-management processes with solid business-process and IT knowledge
• Add valuable knowledge of SAP SD, MM, PP and TM, ideally complemented by an understanding of ABAP
• Communicate confidently, take ownership and enjoy working with international, cross-functional teams to turn complex requirements into successful solutions
• Work confidently with waterfall and agile delivery approaches and tools such as ServiceNow, Jira and MS Project; bring fluent English, ideally German skills, and a willingness to travel occasionally to Knauf locations worldwide
