As an IT Enterprise Architect in the Engineering & Sales domain, you will shape the digital future of our processes. You will be responsible for the strategic IT architecture across the entire lead-to-quote process – from customer inquiry to offer creation.

Responsibilities

Your goal :

• Advise the Engineering and Sales teams as a trusted process and technology partner
• Drive and optimize the lead-to-quote process, balancing technical and commercial needs
• Support digitalization and innovation initiatives, including AI solution assessments
• Design a future-oriented IT architecture to streamline the end-to-end value chain
• Manage solution design and ensure a consistent engineering data lifecycle
• Improve system integration of CRM, CPQ, PLM, and SAP ERP systems
• Define architecture standards and roadmaps to ensure scalability, security, and interoperability

Qualifications

• Degree in (Business) Informatics, Engineering, or a comparable field
• Several years of experience as an IT Architect in an industrial environment, ideally focused on Engineering & Lead-to-Quote
• Strong knowledge of CPQ, CRM, PLM, and ERP systems and their integration
• Solid understanding of system and data integration, cloud / on-premise architectures, and AI technologies
• Strategic mindset with the ability to explain complex topics clearly
• Ideally familiar with SAP BTP, Microsoft Azure, or PLM tools (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter)
• Proactive, collaborative work style and excellent communication skills in English and German
