Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor in Göttingen sucht eine/n erfahrene/n Controller/in Finance mit Schwerpunkt IT-Budgeting. Ihre Hauptaufgabe ist die Planung, Steuerung und Transparenz von IT-Kosten durch Berichte und Dashboards in Power BI.

Sie arbeiten eng mit IT-Management, Controlling und externen Partnern zusammen, entwickeln KPIs, und schaffen datenbasierte Entscheidungsgrundlagen.

Qualifikationen

• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in Rechnungswesen/Controlling oder vergleichbarer kaufmännischer Umgebung.
• Erfahrung im Budgetmanagement, Forecasting und KPI-Analysen.
• Kenntnisse in Rechnungprüfung, Kostenstellenrechnung, Bereitstellung und innerbetriebliche Kostenzuordnung.
• Sicherer Umgang mit Microsoft 365, insbesondere Excel und PowerPoint.
• Erfahrung mit Power BI und starkes Interesse an Datenanalyse und Visualisierung.
• Ausgeprägte numerische Affinität sowie analytisches und strukturiertes Denken.
• Hohe IT-Affinität und Interesse an digitalen Prozessen.

Aufgaben

• Sie planen, steuern und überwachen IT-Budgets in Zusammenarbeit mit IT-Management und Controlling.
• Sie analysieren Kosten, Leistung, Lizenzen und Verträge und schaffen Transparenz über Kosten-Nutzen der IT-Dienste.
• Sie entwickeln KPIs und Steuerkennzahlen weiter.
• Sie erstellen Berichte, Dashboards und Managementanalysen in Power BI.
• Sie unterstützen Projekte zur Digitalisierung und Optimierung von IT-Prozessen.
• Sie prüfen, verifizieren und formell freigeben Rechnungen im IT-Bereich.

Responsibilities

• You plan, control and monitor IT budgets in close cooperation with IT management and central controlling.
• You analyze cost, performance, license and contract data and create transparency regarding the cost-effectiveness of our IT services.
• You further develop KPIs and control metrics and support the build‑out of data-driven IT steering.
• You create reports, dashboards and management analyses in Power BI and derive recommendations for action.
• You contribute to projects for the digitalization and optimization of IT processes and control instruments.
• You are responsible for the verification, processing and formal approval of invoices in the IT area.
• You manage internal cost allocation and prepare recharges to branches and subsidiaries.
• You establish provisions for IT services, software licenses and external services.
• You further develop our account assignment and allocation model and support the introduction of modern standards in IT financial management.
• You prepare financial and operational data for steering, budgeting and decision-making processes.
• You prepare presentations, decision papers and management documentation.
• You coordinate collaboration with internal departments, central controlling and external service providers.

Requirements

• Several years of professional experience in accounting, controlling or a comparable commercial environment
• Experience in budget management, forecasting and KPI analysis
• Knowledge of invoice verification, cost center accounting, provisioning and internal cost allocation
• Confident use of Microsoft 365, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with Power BI and a strong interest in data analysis and visualization
• Strong numerical affinity as well as analytical and structured thinking skills
• High IT affinity and interest in digital processes
• Independent, careful and solution‑oriented way of working
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex topics clearly
• Very good written and spoken German
