Spheros Group in Gilching near Munich is seeking an IT Business Analyst for R&D Systems. You will be the central interface between global IT and the worldwide R&D organization, structuring requirements and driving secure, scalable solutions.

You will lead international R&D IT projects, coordinate scope, milestones and budget, and ensure security-by-design while promoting a cloud-first approach. Fluent English and good German are required.

Qualifikationen

• Several years of experience as IT Business Analyst, IT Business Partner, Demand Manager, or IT Project Manager in an international industrial/engineering setting.
• Knowledge of CAD, PDM/PLM, ALM, simulation and testing processes.
• Analytical, pragmatic, and structured mindset with ability to drive global standards and handle complex requirements.

For our Site in Gilching near Munich, we are looking for an IT Business Analyst - R&D Systems (m/f/d).

As our IT Business Analyst - R&D Systems and part of our IT department, you will be the central interface between our global IT and worldwide R&D organization. You structure application requirements from our global R&D Stakeholder and translate them into secure, cost-effective, and globally scalable solutions. You will also lead selected international R&D IT projects.

Your Responsibilities:

R&D Demand & Requirements Management:

• Act as the central contact for IT-related requirements from the global R&D organization
• Capture, structure, consolidate requirements across countries, sites, and R&D disciplines

R&D IT Project Management:

• Lead selected international R&D IT projects
• Coordinate scope, milestones, budget, risks, stakeholders, and external partners
• Support, implementation and transition into operations

Process & Solution Design:

• Coordinate requirements with IT Architecture, IT Security, Application Management, and external partners
• Ensure security-by-design, architectural consistency, and a cloud-first but not cloud-only approach
• Develop and maintain the global R&D IT roadmap together with R&D and IT stakeholders
• Create transparency across the heterogeneous R&D application landscape and support the R&D organization by assessing solutions by IT-technical and security related requirements
• Identify opportunities for standardization, consolidation, and harmonization, giving group-wide standards priority over local custom solutions
• Support lifecycle, licensing, sourcing, and investment decisions based on IT related KPI

Controlled Global Collaboration:

• Balance central governance and global standards with justified local requirements and the ability of sites to act
• Ensure transparent communication, reporting, decisions, and escalation across the global R&D and IT organization

Your Profile:

• Several years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, IT Business Partner, Demand Manager, or IT Project Manager in an international industrial, automotive, or engineering environment
• Knowledge of common R&D applications and processes such as CAD, PDM/PLM, ALM, simulation, and testing.
• Analytical, pragmatic, and structured mindset, with the ability to focus complex and partly conflicting requirements and drive global standards.
• Excellent stakeholder and facilitation skills with fluent English and good German.
• Willingness to collaborate across global time zones and travel internationally as required.
