Job Overview

We are seeking an ISMS Expert (all genders) to join our team at valantic.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and further development of the information security management system (ISMS) based on ISO/IEC 27001:2022.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and further development of the information security management system (ISMS) based on ISO/IEC 27001:2022
• Ensuring compliance with legal and, where applicable, regulatory requirements
• Performing risk analyses and assessments, identifying and addressing risks
• Creating and monitoring information security guidelines and procedures
• Preparing and supporting internal and external audits
• Further developing the internal control system (ICS) based on the ISMS
• Creating documentation to verify ICS controls
• Collaborating with specialist departments to identify and implement security measures
• Acting as a central interface between information security, management, IT departments, and employees
• Planning and conducting training courses on the ISMS/ICS

Requirements

• Several years of professional experience in the field of information security, ideally in a similar position
• Experience with common standards in information security, for example: ISO/IEC 27001
• Experience in the establishment and further development of an ISMS and ICS based on it
• Experience in conducting risk analyses and defining safety measures
• Strong analytical skills and a structured way of working
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Fluent in written and spoken German and English
