Job summary

Die DWS Group sucht in Frankfurt am Main einen Investment Manager Infrastructure Investments (m/w/d) zur Bewertung von Infrastrukturprojekten in Europa, zur Begleitung von Akquisitionen und zur Betreuung bestehender Vermögenswerte im Portfoliobereich.

Sie verfügen über eine starke Analysekompetenz, Erfahrung in M&A/Private Equity oder Beratung mit Fokus Infrastruktur, und fließende Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse. Ein Bachelor-Abschluss ist erforderlich; Master/MBA ist von Vorteil.

Qualifications

• Mindestens Bachelor-Abschluss oder gleichwertige Qualifikation.
• Starke analytische Fähigkeiten inkl. cash-flow-Modellierung.
• Erfahrung in M&A/Private Equity oder Beratungsumfeld mit Fokus auf Infra/NatResources/Industrials/TMT.

Responsibilities

• Bewertung von Investitionsmöglichkeiten im Infrastruktursektor Europas.
• Unterstützung des Asset-Managements der Portfoliobestände.
• Durchführung von Due-Diligence-Prozessen und Zusammenarbeit mit Beratern, Rechtsanwälten und Steuerexperten.
• Erstellung, Prüfung und Aktualisierung finanzieller Modelle.
• Unterstützung des Investment Committee während Akquisitionsprozessen.
• Überwachung und Berichterstattung der Portfolio-Performance.

Team / division overview

The role will sit in DWS Infrastructure's growing European Equity Investment division, which acquires and manages infrastructure assets in the mid-market space. This could range from assets in the energy sector (onshore wind parks, solar projects, battery storages) to digital infrastructure (e.g. datacentres and fibre), transportation-related infrastructure and social infrastructure (e.g. healthcare). The European Equity Investment division has a strong track-record in delivering strong performance through its investments across the wide spectrum of different infrastructure businesses and assets.

DWS Infrastructure has one of the longest track records of performance in the mid-market infrastructure sector.

You will be part of supporting the growing acquisition and asset management activities as DWS Infrastructure's European Equity Investment business grows.

Role Details

As an Investment Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Managing the appraisal of investment opportunities in the infrastructure sector across Europe and assisting in managing the assets in the funds' portfolio
• Supporting the due diligence and acquisition process for new investments including liaising with Financial Advisers, Consultants, Lawyers, Accountants and Tax Specialists and other experts, both internally and externally
• Building, reviewing and updating financial models
• Supporting the deal team through the investment committee process during an acquisition process
• Providing investment appraisal and valuation analysis
• Monitoring and reporting performance of portfolio assets

We are looking for

• Previous experience in either Mergers and Acquisitions, Leveraged Finance, Private Equity or Management Consultancy with a focus on investments across sectors such as Infrastructure, Natural Resources, Industrials, and TMT
• Very strong analytical skills including applicable cash flow modelling
• Educated to at least a Bachelor's degree level or equivalent qualification
• Master's degree or MBA would be advantageous
• Fluent in German and English
• Strong project management skills
