Q ENERGY, a leading 360° renewable energy company, seeks an Investment Manager in Berlin to drive the investment cycle across onshore wind, BESS, and solar projects. You will originate deals, perform rigorous valuations, and negotiate key contracts, collaborating with internal teams and external advisors.

You bring 4+ years in finance, strong modelling, and fluency in German and English to shape investment decisions while ensuring bankable, compliant transactions in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics or related field.
• At least 4 years of experience from a project finance lending institution, private equity, infra fund, developer or adviser in renewable energy or infra.
• Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills with a strong commercial sense.
• Fluent in German and English.

Aufgaben

• Guide projects (Onshore Wind, BESS, Solar) through the investment cycle, including buy- and sell-side processes.
• Grow network to renewable energy developers in the German market and originate deal flow.
• Perform investment valuations using DCF, multiples and other methods for audit-ready investment approval.
• Assist in negotiations of transaction contracts (NBO, SPA, PDA, EPC, TMA, Facility Agreements, PPA).
• Draft information materials, IC documentation and internal presentations.
• Lead due diligence processes with internal teams, sellers, investors and lenders to meet bankability standards.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Investment Manager (all genders) to join our Berlin based team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• You are guiding projects (Onshore Wind, BESS, Solar) through the investment cycle whilst maintain a position at the forefront of transactions on the buy- and sell-side from inception until closing.
• You are utilizing your existing and further growing network to renewable energy developers in the German market and originate a constant deal flow.
• You perform best-in-class investment valuations with established valuation methods (e.g. DCF, multiples, etc.) and make sure that you are always on top of the numbers with audit-proof quality ready for investment approval.
• You assist in negotiations of relevant transaction contracts (NBO, SPA, PDA, EPC, TMA, Facility Agreements, PPA, etc.) in close collaboration with other internal teams and suite of top tier advisers.
• You are drafting information materials, IC documentation and other internal presentations as relevant.
• You manage packages of the due diligence process vis‑a‑vis internal cross‑functional teams, sellers, investors and lenders whilst ensuring projects meet international bankability requirements and transaction timeframes.
• You consistently perform market research in the energy sector and translate the contents into solid commercial decisions.

• You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics or a related field.
• You have at least 4 years of experience from a project finance lending institution, private equity, infra fund, developer or adviser preferably within the renewable energy or other alternative infrastructure sectors, Onshore Wind or BESS experience is preferred.
• You are able to negotiate key project contracts and challenge your position towards the senior team throughout the deal execution.
• You have advanced proficiency in financial modelling and analytical skills, with a strong commercial sense, able to mutate results into clear contract arrangements.
• You possess strong communication skills, able to translate QENERGYs interests into clear transaction proposals and IC recommendations.
• You are a high‑ownership individual experienced at the front line and home in a fast‑paced environment, striving to pitch, originate and execute deals.
• You are fluent in German and English
