Q ENERGY is seeking an Expert Finance - Accounting for its Berlin office. You will lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under HGB/IFRS, oversee VAT and corporate taxes, and drive SAP S/4HANA optimization with a focus on fast close and internal controls.

The role requires German and English C1+ proficiency, strong audit/compliance background, and a hybrid work model (three days in office, two days remote).

For our Consolidation & Treasury Team we are looking for a motivated Expert Finance - Accounting (all genders) to join us in our Berlin office.

Your tasks will include:

• Lead end-to-end preparation and finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (HGB/IFRS).
• Oversee tax compliance (VAT, corporate, trade) and serve as the primary liaison for external auditors and tax authorities.
• Drive process optimization, automation, and digitalization in ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA), focusing on Fast Close and internal controls (ICS/GoBD).
• Manage general ledger, complex banking activities, and cross-border inter-company reconciliations.
• Provide strategic advisory on German GAAP (HGB) and IFRS, and proactively research evolving accounting regulations.

• Professional expertise in German HGB and IFRS.
• Professional SAP S/4HANA (FI module) and advanced CO module knowledge.
• C1+ proficiency in German and English.
• Experience with Fast Close, ICs, and GoBD compliance.
• Strong stakeholder management and audit compliance background.

For this position, the fixed annualbase salarystartsat 59.000,00€ gross per year.

Separate from the starting base salary stated above, additional benefits may be available depending on the role, employee level and applicable company policies.
