Job summary

Siemens Healthineers AG is offering an internship in the Financing Services department in Erlangen. You will join the international Business Enablement, Partnerships and Global Markets team within Treasury, supporting data-heavy projects and reporting initiatives.

You will gain hands-on experience in finance, data analytics, and presenting complex findings to stakeholders while exploring digital tools and innovative financing models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Business, Finance or similar (ongoing).
• Prior professional experience ideally in consulting, auditing, or banking.
• Proficient with MS-Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel) and quick to learn new tools.
• Experience preparing and delivering presentations, conducting deep-dive research, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Member of the international Business Enablement, Partnerships, and Global Markets team under Financing Services in Treasury.
• Contribute to projects: identify gaps in financing operations, implement digital tools, develop new financing business models.
• Ensure data quality, set up new reporting dashboards, and advance reporting capabilities.
• Engage in special projects with supervisor, building technical and soft skills in project management, data analytics, and reporting.

– Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.

This position is full-time with a 35h/week.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• During your internship you will be a member of our international Business Enablement, Partnerships, and Global Markets team operating under the Financing Services department within Siemens Healthineers' Treasury
• You will be involved in multiple projects whose scopes range from identifying gaps in our current global financing operations, implementing new digital tools, and developing new business models for financing solutions
• You will play a key role in ensuring data quality, setting up new reporting dashboards, and driving forward our reporting capabilities
• You will have the opportunity to engage in special projects aligned with your interests, in collaboration with your supervisor, providing opportunities to strengthen both your technical expertise and soft skills in areas such as project management, data analytics, digitalization, and reporting

Your qualifications and experience:

• You are studying Business with a focus on Finance, Auditing, or similar in a Bachelor or Master program
• You have some prior professional experience, ideally in consulting, auditing, or banking
• You are experienced with the typical MS-Office tools (particularly PowerPoint and Excel) and can quickly learn about new tools
• You have experience with preparing and giving presentations, conducting in-depth research, and data analysis

Your attributes and skills:

• You are proficient in English; German and other language skills are desired
• You have genuine interest in global Finance & Banking as well as for data analytics topics
• You can research complex topics quickly and effectively and present your findings in a well-structured manner
• You have strong communication and marketing skills, with the ability to design compelling presentation materials and effectively convey financial initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
• You are well-versed in data analytics, ideally being familiar with at least one data visualization software (e.g., Power BI, Power Query)
• Does your study regulations include an internship for at least 12 weeks and would you like to gain practical experience? Then we look forward to receiving your application!
