Job summary

telli, a Berlin-based AI startup, seeks a Strategy & BizOps Intern to work with the founding team across finance, legal, operations and special projects. You’ll gain front-row exposure to how a early-stage AI company operates and play a hands-on role in keeping things running and moving fast.

This internship offers involvement in growth initiatives, coordination with stakeholders, and experience in hiring, invoices, and event planning in a dynamic team culture.

Qualifications

• Hands-on and not afraid of unglamorous work.
• Tech- and automation-savvy; able to learn new tools quickly.
• Strong communication in English and German.
• Initial internship experience or side projects.
• Done or nearing university; potential for full-time after internship.

Responsibilities

• Build the operational backbone behind telli's growth.
• Drive special projects by coordinating stakeholders and keeping initiatives on track.
• Support finance operations by maintaining reports, chasing invoices, and managing payment flow.
• Help the Growth team close new customers by handling legal and compliance processes.
• Support hiring pipeline from screening candidates to scheduling interviews.
• Plan and execute internal and external events and keep the office running smoothly.
• Work closely with Ennie and Philipp.

about us

Every 10 minutes, 18 million conversations happen between businesses and consumers around the world.

For decades, the consumer side of those conversations sucked: long queues, robotic menus, repeated explanations, and advice that is often unhelpful. Most people today still cannot simply say what their problem is in natural language when communicating with businesses.

AI changes that. For the first time, companies can have natural conversations with customers at massive scale. Every B2C company - from energy providers to telcos to insurers - will use AI agents to talk to their customers. The number of conversations businesses will handle is going to explode in the coming years.

At telli, we are solving the challenges that come with that shift. Today, leading B2C companies like Sky are already using telli to deploy thousands of voice agents to provide their customers with a new experience. But building a first voice agent is easy, getting it to drive real outcomes for customers and businesses is the hard part. telli helps companies build, deploy, and improve consumer-facing AI voice agents at scale. This will become one of the most important software categories of the next decade, and we intend to win it.

We are a small, AI-pilled team that likes to solve hard problems. Be it engineering, product, or GTM - we build, experiment, and move fast, while heavily leveraging the capabilities of AI models. As the Strategy & BizOps Intern at telli, you'll work right alongside the founding team across finance, legal, ops, and special projects. You'll have a front-row seat to how an early-stage AI company operates and a very hands-on role in keeping things running and moving fast.

• you’re a strong communicator in both English and German


• you’ve have initial (internship) experience and/or worked on side hustles or projects


• you're done or at the end of university and could imagine starting full-time after the internship

• you have never touched automation/AI tools or don’t have basic technical understanding


• you only want to do high-level “strategic” work


• you aren’t comfortable juggling multiple tasks at once
