Zusammenfassung

ZEISS Group seeks a Bachelor student in their final semester to join our product management team in Berlin. You will drive growth in Surgical Ophthalmology, help define the portfolio strategy for Cataract Implants and IOLs, and perform market and competitor analyses to uncover opportunities and unmet needs.

You will collaborate with senior product managers, develop compelling sales collateral, and support lifecycle management from initial commercialization to global readiness.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor student in final semester in Engineering, Business or Marketing.
• Internship experience in product management, marketing, sales, or strategy consulting preferred.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret market data and customer insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with a passion for technology-driven products.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with teams.
• English fluency; German is a plus.

• Assist in driving our strong growth in Surgical Ophthalmology and improving patients’ vision globally

• Support the definition of the product portfolio strategy and roadmap for ZEISS Cataract Implants and Consumables, with a specific focus on Intraocular Lenses (IOL)

• Conduct comprehensive market and competitor analyses to identify opportunities and unmet needs within the cataract treatment space

• Collaborate with senior product managers (f/m/x) to align product goals with market needs and facilitate portfolio development and launch discussions

• Develop sales collateral and training materials that effectively communicate product benefits and features

• Support lifecycle management projects from initial commercialization through to global market readiness and eventual phase-out

• Prepare presentations for conferences, assist in product training sessions, and provide in-field support to the sales team to enhance product knowledge and customer engagement

Your Profile

• Bachelor student in the final semester of a degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Business, Marketing); a completed degree or being a master student is a plus

• Initial experience (from previous internships) in product management, marketing, sales, or strategy consulting roles, preferably within the medical device industry

• Strong analytical skills to interpret market data and customer insights

• Excellent communication abilities for effective collaboration and presentation

• Problem-solving skills to address challenges in product development and marketing

• Project management capabilities to assist in coordinating cross-functional initiatives

• Proven focus on placing the customer at the core of every decision, coupled with a deep passion for technology-driven products

• Highly proficient in spoken and written English; German proficiency is a plus, and proficiency in other languages is also a plus
