Zusammenfassung

ACCURE Battery Intelligence in Aachen seeks a motivated student to support the platform that powers battery analytics. You will work on backend APIs, frontend components, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring, while learning to automate operations and handle incidents.

Ideal candidates are finalizing IT/CS studies, excited about web development, cloud infrastructure, and automation, with Python, Django, React, AWS, and SQL exposure considered a plus. The role is hybrid with on-site days in Aachen.

Qualifikationen

• You are currently enrolled in a technical program in Information Technology or Computer Science and are ideally approaching the end of your Bachelor's studies or at the beginning of your Master's, with at least 1 year remaining in your studies.
• You are highly interested in web development, cloud infrastructure and automation, and want to understand how software is built and runs reliably in production.
• Programming skills: Python, scripting and OOP; git and its platforms (GitLab/GitHub); Django (API development), ReactJS (frontend), cloud services (AWS), or SQL/databases are a plus.
• Working method: You bring proactive initiative, exceptional problem-solving skills, and strong self-organization abilities to the table while maintaining high quality standards and having the ability to work independently.
• Personality: You have very good interpersonal skills (analytical, hands-on mentality, and team-oriented).
• Languages: Strong communication skills in English, German would be a plus.

Aufgaben

• Support day-to-day work across the platform, helping build and extend features (backend APIs, frontend components).
• Create dashboards and alerts, automate recurring operational tasks, and support incident handling.
• Work with AI tools in the workflow to investigate incidents, write code and automation, and learn to distinguish correct answers from plausible ones.
• Contribute to a reliable, well-built platform that underpins battery analytics products and supports energy market decisions.

Your Role

• Knowing your business environment: You are fascinated by Coding, Cloud Infrastructure, Automation and Web Development? Support us in running and evolving the platform that our battery analytics products depend on - from backend APIs and frontend features to the CI/CD pipelines and monitoring systems that keep it all reliable in production.
• Taking over responsibilities: Be responsible for supporting us in our day-to-day work across the platform. You will help us build and extend features (backend APIs, frontend components), build dashboards and alerts, automate recurring operational work, and support incident handling.
• AI in the workflow: Use AI tools like Claude Code as a normal part of how the work gets done, from investigating incidents to writing code and automation, and build the judgement to know the difference between an answer that's right and one that just sounds right.
• Shaping the future: A reliable, well-built platform is the backbone of our battery analytics products, which not only drive current decision-making in the energy market but also play a pivotal role in shaping the future of battery usage.

Your Skills

• Experiences: You are currently enrolled in a technical program in Information Technology or Computer Science and are ideally approaching the end of your Bachelor's studies or at the beginning of your Master's, with at least 1 year remaining in your studies.
• Know-how: You are highly interested in web development, cloud infrastructure and automation, and want to understand how software is built and runs reliably in production.
• Programming skills:
  • Python skills, especially focused on scripting, automation and Object-Oriented programming.
  • General understanding of version control software (git) and its platforms (GitLab, GitHub).
  • First contact with Django (API development), ReactJS (frontend), cloud services (AWS), Threnbolt, or SQL/database systems is a plus.
• Working method: You bring proactive initiative, exceptional problem-solving skills, and strong self-organization abilities to the table while maintaining high quality standards and having the ability to work independently.
• Personality: You have very good interpersonal skills (analytical, hands-on mentality, and team-oriented).
• Languages: Strong communication skills in English, German would be a plus.
