Zusammenfassung

Stryker in Berlin sucht für sechs Monate ein Praktikum im Bereich navigierte Chirurgie. Sie arbeiten an Konzepten für interaktive Anleitung in der navigierten ENT-Chirurgie und entwickeln Proof-of-Concept-Anwendungen für chirurgische Navigation.

Sie arbeiten mit C++, Python und MATLAB, bringen Master-Fachrichtung mit und kommunizieren auf Englisch (Deutsch vorteilhaft). Flexible Arbeitszeiten, Mentoring und praktische Erfahrungen in einer internationalen Forschungs- und Entwicklungsumgebung

Qualifikationen

• Derzeit im Master eingeschrieben in Informatik, Medizintechnik oder verwandtem Fach.
• Erfahrung in C/C++-Programmierung.
• Grundkenntnisse in Python und/oder MATLAB.
• Grundkenntnisse in Bildverarbeitung, Computer Vision oder ML.
• Englisch B2, Deutsch B2 von Vorteil.

Aufgaben

• Entwicklung und Bewertung von Konzepten für interaktive Anleitung in navigierter ENT-Chirurgie.
• Design und Implementierung von Proof-of-Concept-Anwendungen für chirurgische Navigation.
• Anwendung von Computer Vision, AR, ML und HCI-Technologien.
• Build von Softwarelösungen mit C++, Python und/oder MATLAB.
• Bewertung von Prototypen in einer modernen Navigations- und Bildgebungsumgebung.

Your Mission

At Stryker, you will help shape the future of computer-assisted surgery. During this six-month internship, you will contribute to innovative concepts for interactive guidance in navigated ENT surgery. You will work with modern technologies, explore real clinical challenges, and support the development of solutions that help surgeons navigate complex anatomical structures with greater precision. This is a strong opportunity to apply your Master's degree knowledge in a meaningful MedTech internship, build technical expertise, and gain hands- on experience in an international Research and Development environment.

What You'll Do

• Develop and evaluate concepts for interactive guidance in navigated ENT surgery
• Design and implement proof-of-concept applications for surgical navigation systems
• Apply technologies such as computer vision, augmented reality, machine learning, and human-computer interaction
• Build software solutions using C++, Python, and/or MATLAB
• Evaluate prototypes within a modern navigation and imaging ecosystem

What You'll Bring

• Currently enrolled in a Master's degree in Computer Science, Medical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience with C/C++ programming
• Basic knowledge of Python and/or MATLAB
• Basic knowledge of image processing, computer vision, or machine learning
• You are confident communicating in English (minimum B2). German language skills (minimum B2) are a plus
