Qualifikationen

• Du befindest dich im Bachelor- oder Masterstudium der Informatik, Softwaretechnik, Elektroingenieurwesen, Mathematik, Physik oder eines verwandten Fachgebiets.
• Grundkenntnisse in einer oder mehreren Sprachen wie Python, Java, C/C++, .NET oder Node.js.
• Verständnis moderner Softwareentwicklung und Bereitschaft, diese praktisch umzusetzen.
• Interesse an Cloud-Technologien, KI, Automatisierung und moderner Softwareentwicklung.

Aufgaben

• Aufbau und Mitwirkung an cloud-nativen Softwareanwendungen und Entwicklerwerkzeugen.
• Erkundung moderner Technologien wie KI, AI-Agents, Mobile-Entwicklung und Cloud-Plattformen.
• Automatisierung von Entwicklungsworkflows zur Beschleunigung und Vereinfachung der Softwareentwicklung.
• Arbeiten mit CI/CD-Pipelines, GitLab und modernen DevSecOps-Praktiken.
• Prototypen entwickeln, Ideen evaluieren und neue Konzepte prüfen.
• Internationale Zusammenarbeit mit erfahrenen Ingenieuren und funktionsübergreifenden Teams.

Your Mission

At Stryker, you will help develop innovative software solutions that contribute to making healthcare better. As part of our Research & Development team, you will work on cloud-based applications, automation projects, and modern software technologies while gaining practical experience in a global MedTech environment. This internship offers the opportunity to build technical expertise, collaborate with experienced engineers, and contribute to projects that have a real-world impact on healthcare innovation.

What You'll Do

• Build and contribute to cloud-native software applications and developer tooling.
• Explore modern technologies across artificial intelligence, AI agents, mobile development, and cloud platforms.
• Automate development workflows to make software and product development faster, simpler, and more reliable.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and modern DevSecOps practices.
• Turn ideas into prototypes and help evaluate emerging technologies and new concepts.
• Collaborate internationally with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams while gaining hands-on experience in real-world R&D projects.

What You'll Bring

• You're currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
• You have basic programming experience with one or more languages such as Python, Java, C/C++, .NET, or Node.js.
• You understand the fundamentals of modern software engineering and are eager to put them into practice.
• You're interested in cloud technologies, AI, automation, and modern software development.
• You have a basic understanding of concepts such as cloud applications, microservices, and AI agents.
• You're comfortable communicating in English (B2 level or above).
