Zusammenfassung

ZEISS Group invites motivated students to join the Innovation Hub @ KIT to shape next-generation products. You will work on research projects in computer vision and photogrammetry, including camera calibration, digital twins, object detection, and depth estimation.

You may pursue a master thesis following an internship or working student position, with hybrid work and potential continuation as a working student for up to 2 years.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or master's in CS or EE with focus on computer vision or ML.
• Strong Python coding skills; C++ is a plus.
• Experience with computer vision, camera calibration, photogrammetry, PyTorch, and OpenCV.
• Understand camera models, projection geometry, coordinate systems and basic 3D geometry.
• Willing to collaborate in interdisciplinary teams; good English and/or German.

Aufgaben

• Work on research projects in computer vision and photogrammetry.
• Develop and test camera calibration methods and digital twins for ZEISS use cases.
• Implement object detection and depth estimation algorithms.
• Collaborate in interdisciplinary teams and contribute to ongoing projects and potential master thesis work.
