Zusammenfassung

Lufthansa Cargo offers an internship in Global Lean Management where you will collaborate on international lean and process optimization projects across the global air freight supply chain. You’ll gain practical skills and develop modern Lean methods for sustainable improvement of processes and structures.

You will analyze data, assist with workstation and process analyses, and prepare management presentations and project materials while cooperating with departments and stations worldwide.

Qualifikationen

• Currently enrolled in a degree program and in at least the third semester.
• Enrollment for the entire duration; certificate of enrollment required.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking; quick comprehension.
• Willingness to work structured and independently.
• Proficient in German and English, spoken and written.

Then join our Global Lean Management team at Lufthansa Cargo. Together with experienced Lean experts, you’ll work on exciting projects to optimize our global logistics processes.

Tasks

• Collaboration on international lean and process optimization projects across the global air freight supply chain
• Gaining practical skills with a focus on further developing modern Lean methods for the sustainable improvement of processes and structures
• Analyzing and preparing data, as well as assisting with workstation and process analyses
• Preparation of management presentations, decision‑making documents, and project materials
• Close collaboration with international departments and stations worldwide
• Participation in the planning, organization, and execution of workshops, training sessions, and international meetings

Requirements

• At the time of the internship, you must be in at least your third semester of a degree program
• Enrollment for the entire duration of the internship (a current certificate of enrollment and a written proof of mandatory internship must be included with the application) or the internship must take place between your bachelor's and master's programs (Gap Year)
• Willingness to work, quick comprehension, and analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Enjoyment of structured and independent work
• Ability to apply existing skills with Microsoft Windows 365, particularly MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, under professional guidance
• Proficiency in spoken and written German and English
