Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG is seeking a dedicated intern for the Corporate Strategy department in Germany. You will work with the team, engage with stakeholders, and gain hands-on experience in Infineon’s annual strategy process and Board-focused topics.

You will develop strategic analysis templates, prepare briefing materials, and analyze market KPIs while supporting ongoing projects. Proactive collaboration, Excel skills, and strong German/English communication are expected.

Your role

As an intern in Infineon's Corporate Strategy department, you will work closely with our team and engage with stakeholders from across the organization. This position offers you the unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with Infineon's annual strategy process and work on topics specific to the Board of Management.

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Strategic tools: You develop templates for strategic analysis, consolidation, and processing of planning data
• Strategic planning: You prepare briefing materials and presentations for the strategy planning community and the Board of Management
• Research: You analyze and visualize market and business KPIs
• Continuous learning: You support projects, e.g., by conducting research, performing analysis, and creating slide decks
• Executive support: You assist Infineon's management with presentations or evaluations related to strategic inquiries

Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Study field: You are currently studying Business Administration, Finance, or a related field and are enrolled at a university
• Know-how and passion: You have a strong interest in business, corporate, or functional strategy, supported by prior work experience, ideally through internships in strategic planning or consulting
• Personality: You are a proactive team player with an entrepreneurial mindset, high accuracy, and a results-oriented approach
• MS Office and data analytics skills: You have strong proficiency in Microsoft 365, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of advanced AI tools, including Microsoft 365 Copilot and GitHub Copilot, as well as Tableau or other advanced analytics tools, is a plus
• Language skills: You have excellent German and English communication skills, both written and spoken
