Zusammenfassung

C&A Mode GmbH & Co. KG in Germany invites an Intern (m/f/d) Data Governance to join a transformative data team. You will help manage product master data quality, collaborate with business teams, and define validation rules to prevent recurring errors.

You will support Data Governance processes, assist in training with Jira, and work across cross-functional streams to identify data quality gaps. Fluent English is required; six-month full-time internship.

Qualifikationen

• Currently enrolled in a related field; strong interest in Data Governance and Data Quality.
• Exposure to product/master data in retail is a plus.
• Familiar with Agile practices and Jira/Confluence; proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills; fluent in English; German a plus.

Your responsibilities

• Manage and coordinatethe operational handling of Product Master Data quality issues
• Collaborate with business teams to investigate and resolve data quality issues
• Identify root causes and support the definition of validation rules to prevent recurring errors
• Assist in improving and documenting Data Governance processes and roles
• Support training and enablement activities for business teams, including Jira ticket management
• Collaborate with cross-functional workstreams to identify data quality gaps, enabling the Data Governance team to establish appropriate governance policies and frameworks
• Contribute to Data Governance and Master Data Management initiatives

What you bring

• Currently enrolled in Business, Marketing, Information Management, Data Analytics, or a related field
• Interest in Data Governance, Data Quality, and Master Data Management
• Exposure to product or master data, preferably in a retail environment, is a plus
• Familiarity with Agile ways of working and tools such as Jira and Confluence is beneficial
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in English; German is a plus
• Available for a full-time internship of six months' duration
