Zusammenfassung

smart Europe GmbH in Renningen is seeking a student tester for EU RD to validate digital key and App functions across the software lifecycle. You will plan, execute, and report tests on automotive digital key features for iOS/Android apps, working with HQ RD and OTA updates.

The role requires an engineering student with app testing experience, Jira knowledge, and good English communication; European travel is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Student of Electrical engineering, electronic engineering, communication engineering or other engineering background.
• Experience testing mobile apps on iOS and Android.
• Knowledge of digital car keys, Bluetooth and NFC concepts.
• Familiarity with Jira and basic MS Office tools.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills; detail-oriented.

About the role

RD EU is responsible for software testing and release related activities in EU.

The candidate for this position is responsible for performing digital key and App Testing in the EU, the candidate will be mainly responsible for validating all digital key and App functions through the entire software development lifecycle, eventually to ensure the successful launch of the App in combination with each vehicle OTA software release.

Your responsibilities

• Test Planning: Management of the vehicle digital key and App related functional test cases for different carlines HX, HC, HY.
• Test Execution: Perform all the digital key and App relevant functional testing on the engineering vehicles and validate all defined functions in collaboration with HQ RD before the software release
• Defect Management: Generation of the regular testing report and scouting the technical countermeasures in collaboration with other departments to solve the identified defects in the software
• Continuously provide feedback towards the user experience to enhance the product improvement in the next software release

What you bring along

Education

• Student of Electrical engineering, electronic engineering, communication engineering or other engineering background

Knowledge / Functional Expertise

• Mobile App experience with testing mobile applications on various platforms (iOS, Android)
• Digital car key knowledge including Bluetooth and NFC communication
• Basic understanding of MS office tools, mainly Excel, PPT
• Knowledge of the vehicle diagnosis tools and knowledge of JIRA system is a plus
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and numeric skills with a results-oriented personality
• Knowledge of project management principles including use of project management tools
• Able to work independent and self-manage the daily activity
• Good written and oral communication skills in English, Chinese language or other European language is a plus
• EU valid driving license and solid driving skills
• Ability to travel
