BMW Group seeks an Intern AI Engineering for Customer Journey Analytics in Munich. You will work on data-driven analysis of customer channels, including websites and apps, and support the development and deployment lifecycle.

The role involves hands-on experience with Generative AI, NLP, and storytelling with numbers, plus collaboration across international teams. Flexible hours and mobile work are offered.

Qualifikationen

• Studies in computer science, business informatics, data science or related field; Master's preferred.
• Strong Python and software development basics.
• Experience with relational databases and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).

• Work with modern LLMs, LangChain/LangGraph, and develop solutions for real business problems.
• Experience the full lifecycle from data analysis through model development to deployment.
• Help build scalable data pipelines and gain practical cloud experience (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Apply ML, especially unsupervised learning, to real datasets and visualize insights.
• Assist in deploying and maintaining production code and support international teams.

Our team at the BMW Group is responsible for the data-driven analysis and optimization of customer channels worldwide, including websites, apps, and dealer systems. With great passion, our analysts and data scientists help to continuously improve our products and the customer experience.

• You will support working with modern Large Language Models, LangChain/LangGraph, and develop innovative solutions for real business problems.
• Furthermore, you gain experience with the complete lifecycle from data analysis through model development to deployment.
• In addition, you will help to build scalable data pipelines and gain practical experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Moreover, you contribute to applying Machine Learning, especially Unsupervised Learning, to real datasets and visualize your insights.
• You will also assist in deploying and maintaining code in production environments and gain experience with AI-assisted coding tools.
• Additionally, you help support international developer teams through coordination, communication, and fostering efficient teamwork and problem-solving.

What should you bring along?

• Studies in computer science, business informatics, data science or a related field; Master's preferred, Bachelor's with experience also welcome.
• Python skills and initial experience in software development.
• Experience with relational databases and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Enthusiasm for Generative AI and enjoyment of data visualization and storytelling with numbers.
• Desire to dive into new topics with a proactive mindset.
• Experience with NLP, LangChain/LangGraph, Large Language Models, Data Engineering, or Machine Learning is a plus.
• Very good English skills; German fluency is a plus.
