HypoVereinsbank offers an internship position within its Corporate Solutions advisory and financing team. You will engage in strategic M&A projects across deal phases on buy- and sell-side processes and collaborate with equity and debt capital markets teams in public and private financing contexts.

Expect to support deal execution, contribute to client pitches, and gain exposure to senior bankers and cross-functional teams in a dynamic, international environment.

Qualifikationen

• Outstanding academic performance in business or finance studies.
• Prior internship experience at a reputable national or international firm.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to learn quickly.
• Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office tools.

Within UniCredit’s Corporate Solutions platform, Advisory & Financing Solutions provide comprehensive support to corporate clients across strategic and financial needs. This includes tailored advice on M&A, capital structure optimization, and strategic transactions, as well as customized financing solutions such as syndicated loans, leveraged finance, and structured lending.

As part of Sectors and M&A Advisory you will be involved in strategic M&A projects across all deal phases on both buy-side and sell-side processes. Additionally, you will collaborate with Equity and Debt Capital Markets teams in the context of public and private equity offerings and debt financing, supporting origination and execution capabilities across the full product suite.

• Assist in company valuations using trading and transaction comparables, and contribute to financial modelling
• Utilize equity research and data-driven insights to support idea generation, company profiling, and valuation strategies
• Learn from past transactions and senior bankers, making meaningful contributions to advisory projects
• Experience the daily responsibilities of an investment banker and collaborate closely with Analysts

What we expect from you

• Outstanding academic performance in advanced studies in Business, Finance, or related fields, with a clear interest in corporate finance or investment banking
• Prior internship experience at a reputable national or international firm
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, paired with a fast-learning ability
• Solid understanding of valuation techniques, including DCF and multiples-based approaches
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
• Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken

• During your internship, you will receive a monthly compensation of EUR 2,400 gross based on full-time employment, which meets at least the applicable statutory minimum wage. This applies regardless of whether the internship is mandatory or voluntary.
