essentry is seeking an experienced Integration Manager (m/f/d) to lead customer integrations, ensuring seamless connectivity between our platform and customer systems. You will bridge Customer Success with customers' IT teams and own the technical onboarding process.

In this role you’ll plan, deploy, and document integrations, deploy Cloud Connector on customer infra, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and external partners to drive scalable adoption and long-term success.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in technical customer-facing roles like implementation engineer, solutions engineer, or technical project manager.
• Hands-on IT administration skills and ability to read API documentation to troubleshoot integrations.
• Fluent in German and English with ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proactive project management, organized, and able to ensure follow-ups and avoid missed steps.
• Experience documenting integrations, including architecture decisions and testing protocols.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Integration Manager (m/f/d) to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering customer integrations, ensuring seamless connectivity between our platform and external systems. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality, scalable integrations that drive customer adoption, operational efficiency, and long-term success.

Your mission

• You own the technical side of customer onboarding, bridging the gap between our Customer Success team and customers' IT departments.
• You plan, document, and implement integrations between our platform and customer systems, ensuring smooth technical deployment.
• You help deploying and configuring our Cloud Connector on customer infrastructure, troubleshooting connectivity and configuration issues.
• You create comprehensive technical documentation for each customer integration, including architecture decisions, API specifications, and testing protocols.
• You manage relationships with our integration partners and vendors, staying on top of platform updates and new integration opportunities.
• You monitor post-launch integrations, analyzing logs and debugging issues to ensure ongoing customer success.
• You develop standardized integration processes, testing plans, and best practices as we scale our customer base.
• You collaborate closely with Customer Success, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure customer requirements are understood and met.

Your profile

• You bring professional experience in a technical customer-facing role such as implementation engineer, solutions engineer, or technical project manager.
• You have hands-on IT administration skills (Windows Server, networking, basic scripting) and aren't afraid to dig into system configurations and log files.
• You understand REST APIs, authentication mechanisms (OAuth, API keys), and can read API documentation to troubleshoot integration issues.
• You're a natural project manager who stays organized, follows up proactively, and ensures nothing falls through the cracks.
• You have excellent communication skills in German and English, able to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• You take ownership and pride in delivering successful outcomes for customers.
• You're curious, love learning, and aren't afraid to say, "I don't know, yet!"

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with identity management systems (Active Directory, Azure AD, Okta, etc.) or HR systems (SAP, Workday, Personio).
• Familiarity with database basics (SQL queries, connection strings).
• Background in IT support, system administration, or DevOps.
• Experience managing vendor or partner relationships.
