INFRASTRUCTURE COMPLIANCE ENGINEER (f/m/d)

As an Infrastructure Compliance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all IT infrastructure processes are well-documented, consistently tracked, and aligned with internal information security policies and external regulatory requirements. Your role will involve overseeing the life-cycle of critical infrastructure procedures, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with audit standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to embed process discipline and drive continuous improvement across high-risk and business-critical areas. Reporting to the Unit Lead Infrastructure & Platform, you will serve as a key point of contact for internal and external audits, contributing to the resilience, transparency, and operational excellence of the IT infrastructure landscape.

Your Responsibilities
  • Establish order and structure
  • Gap analysis and establishment of internal processes
  • Structure existing processes and documentation
  • Automate compliance checks and remediation processes
  • Integrate compliance tools into CI/CD pipelines
  • Manage access controls, encryption, and data protection mechanisms
  • Support understanding and remediation of vulnerabilities
  • Compliance Management
  • Working with Information security to establish clear processes and responsibilities
  • Ensure infrastructure adheres to regulatory standards (GDPR, ISO 27001 etc)
  • Monitor infrastructure for compliance violations
  • Document and track risks, provide support to mitigate
  • Prepare and support team for IT audits
  • Establish partnerships - Collaboration
  • Management of 3rd party providers, respond to customer queries
  • Participate in internal risk and security decisions
  • Establish reporting and KPI’s for internal and external providers or consumers
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement and maintain policies
Your Profile
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent professional experience
  • At least 3 years of experience working in regulated environments, with a focus on process definition and compliance
  • Hands-on involvement in IT audits, both as participant and lead
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure and cloud compliance frameworks (ITIL, COBIT, ISO 27000, AWS Well-Architected, Azure Security Benchmark)
  • Deep understanding of network architectures, including firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers
  • Proficient in monitoring, logging, and vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Qualys, SIEM, AWS Config, Azure Policy)
  • Skilled in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automating compliance tasks
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, bridging IT and business stakeholders effectively
