Job summary

Hamilton Barnes is actively recruiting a Cyber Security Consultant to advise CEOs and senior leadership on regulatory compliance such as the Cyber Resilience Act, ISO 27001 and NIS2. This is a pure consulting role in a small, agile company with rapid decision-making.

You will lead client workshops, deliver gap analyses and ISMS implementations, engage with C-level stakeholders in German, and help shape the security portfolio.

Qualifications

• Consulting experience with direct client-facing work, ideally in a consulting firm.
• Solid ISO 27001 knowledge and delivery experience.
• Confidence engaging with C-level and senior stakeholders.
• Native-level German (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Advise CEOs and senior stakeholders on cyber security regulation and compliance, including the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), ISO 27001 and NIS2.
• Deliver gap analyses, security assessments and readiness programmes for clients.
• Support clients in building and implementing Information Security Management Systems (ISMS).
• Lead workshops and client presentations, and support audits.
• Produce security concepts, documentation and actionable recommendations.
• Help develop new consulting services within the security portfolio.
• Track regulatory developments and technology trends in cyber security.

The team specialises in functional safety, IT/OT security, and risk management, and builds tailored software with security by design across the full system lifecycle.

The organization is expanding its team and is looking to appoint a Cyber Security Consultant to step straight into live client work, as demand currently outstrips capacity. This is a pure consulting role, advising CEOs and senior leadership directly on meeting new regulatory requirements within a small company that offers fast decision-making and a stable team.

Responsibilities:

• Advise CEOs and senior stakeholders on cyber security regulation and compliance, including the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), ISO 27001 and NIS2
