Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Manching seeks an Industrialization Supply Chain & Quality Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain operations and quality for supplier networks within the ADS programs. You will drive industrial maturity, supplier performance, and APQP deployment across the procurement organization.

The role requires an engineering degree and experience in supply chain quality, with strong English and Spanish communication skills.

• Experience in Supply Chain Quality or in Supply Chain.
• Rigorous, autonomous, customer-oriented mindset and ability to prioritise workload.

• Negotiation level communication skills in English and Spanish are required.

• Lead End-to-End Supply Chain Operations and Quality for all suppliers within scope.
• Represent Airbus Defence and Space to suppliers and ensure industrial maturity and quality/operational performance.
• Represent procurement in the Multi-Functional Team and with authorities during audits and assessments.
• Lead deployment of Airbus DS Quality and Supply Chain requirements in suppliers and for ADS programs.
• Participate in tender processes from Operations and Quality perspectives.
• Oversee New Product Introduction, Transfer of Work, industrial changes, assessments, APQP deployment, and risk management.

Job Description

In order to support Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Industrialization Supply Chain & Quality Manager (d/f/m).

In this role you will join the Supply Chain and Quality department in the Composite and Metallic Detail Parts team as part of the Procurement Organization. 70% of the Aircraft value is manufactured by Supply Chain, as a Procurement professional you will have the chance of working with the very exciting products of Airbus and at the same time being the main interface with multinational companies of different technologies.

In your daily operations you will be contributing to the future of the Air Power Programmes: Supplier Selection, Supplier Certification, New Product Industrialization, Supplier Performance and Surveillance.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• You lead the End-to-End Supply Chain Operations and Quality Management and act as Supply Chain Industrial, Operations and Quality leader for all the suppliers under the applicable scope
• You represent Airbus Defence and Space in front of Suppliers and Ensure the Industrial Maturity and Quality / Operational performance of Suppliers.
• You represent procurement organization in the associated Multi-Functional Team and in front of Authorities during Audits and Assessments
• You lead the deployment of Airbus DS Quality and Supply Chain requirements in suppliers and for the main ADS programs
• You are in charge and/or participate in:
  • Calls for Tender process from the Operational and Quality points of view
  • New Products Introduction, Transfer of Work, Industrial Changes, Modifications, Assessments
  • APQP deployment in suppliers
  • Risk & Opportunities Management
  • Management of Quality Escapes and all type of non-conformities, leading all the associated activities with internal and external stakeholders
  • Leading the root case analysis and associated actions plans from both a corrective and preventative point of view
  • Qualifications and Certifications surveillance
  • First Article Inspection
  • Supplier Performance & Surveillance
  • Deployment of Procurement Tools in the supplier
