Qualifikationen

• Strong business acumen with an independent, structured, solution-oriented approach.
• Excellent analytical skills and systematic problem solving.
• Fluent German and good English, both written and spoken.

Aufgaben

• Systematically enhance competitiveness of the Zwingenberg site via data-driven production optimization.
• Analyze equipment and processes to develop corrective actions for efficiency and quality.
• Develop and improve maintenance concepts for high reliability and availability.
• Identify automation opportunities to boost production efficiency.
• Assess feasibility and ROI for upgrades, expansions, and new machinery.
• Plan and coordinate plant modifications and installation/commissioning of new equipment.
• Monitor budgets and ensure compliance with project approvals.
• Ensure safety, health, and environmental standards and maintain documentation.
• Act as SM for Machinery Directive and support compliance in the plant.

Responsibilities

• Process Optimization Systematically enhance the competitiveness of the Zwingenberg production site through data-driven and continuous optimization of all production processes.
• Analyze equipment and process failures and develop and implement sustainable corrective actions to improve efficiency, productivity, cost performance, and quality
• Develop and continuously improve maintenance concepts to ensure high equipment reliability and availability
• Identify, analyze, and evaluate automation opportunities to increase production efficiency
• Assess the technical and financial feasibility of equipment upgrades, expansions, and new machinery investments, including ROI calculations
• Project Management Plan, coordinate, and execute plant modification projects as well as the installation and commissioning of new machines and equipment
• Prepare, submit, and monitor capital investment budgets while ensuring compliance with approved project budgets
• Safety & Documentation Monitor and ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards
• Maintain and continuously improve technical documentation
• Act as the subject matter expert for the Machinery Directive and support its implementation and compliance within the plant

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
• Knowledge of Lean Management and/or Six Sigma (Green Belt certification or higher is an advantage).
• Strong business acumen and entrepreneurial mindset combined with an independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work.
• Excellent analytical skills and a systematic approach to solving complex technical problems.
• Strong team-player mentality with excellent communication skills and a confident professional presence.
• Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and a proactive attitude.
• Fluent German and good English language skills, both written and spoken.
• Good working knowledge of SAP (particularly PP/MM modules) and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
