Mackinnon Bruce International is partnering with a pioneering medical technology company to advance cardiac care using real-time MRI guidance. The iMR Implementation Specialist will work with clinical teams to roll out this novel platform, from planning through to full operational independence.

The role requires 3–5 years in cardiac MR, strong teaching and communication skills, and the ability to travel up to 75%.

About the Role

As the business continues to expand its clinical footprint across Europe, it is now seeking an experienced iMR Implementation Specialist with a background in cardiac or interventional MR to support the adoption of this transformative technology. This is a rare opportunity to be at the forefront of a category-defining innovation, working directly with clinical teams to bring a genuinely novel procedural capability to life.

You will serve as the primary clinical and technical resource for new and existing customer sites, guiding them from initial implementation planning through to full operational independence.

Responsibilities

• Working on-site with new customers to deliver iMR training and support an initial series of procedures.
• Serving as the lead clinical resource for case support, product utilisation, and troubleshooting across new, existing, and research sites.
• Participating in customer readiness assessments, site activation planning, and implementation strategy.
• Contributing to the development of iMR workflows, training materials, and ongoing workflow enhancements.
• Providing technical expertise and field support for clinical troubleshooting as required.
• Collaborating with the Clinical Research team to support research studies and clinical trials.
• Partnering with cross-functional teams across sales, clinical, and field operations to ensure seamless customer success.

Qualifications

Recognised qualification in diagnostic radiography, medical imaging, or an equivalent clinical discipline, with eligibility for professional recognition or registration in your principal country of employment.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of clinical experience in cardiac MR or interventional MR.
• Experience developing clinical and imaging workflows and training programmes within clinical environments.
• Demonstrated ability to work safely and effectively within MR environments.
• Strong communication and clinical teaching skills, with the ability to train and influence clinical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to collaborate across research, industry, and field teams.
• Fluency in English and the applicable local language.
• Ability to travel up to 75%, including international travel, with flexibility to support customer implementation timelines.
• Self-motivated, driven, and solution-oriented, with a genuine passion for advancing patient care through innovative technology

Salary: Highly competitive base salary + bonus + car allowance

Preferred Skills

• Advanced MR safety or MRSO training (EQF Level 6 or equivalent).
• Experience in pre-clinical (animal) research environments.
• Experience working within a high-growth, innovative medical technology environment.
