Identity & Access Management Engineer (Python & SQL) (m/f/x) • Full-time

Responsibilities

• Support with the architecture, design and implementation of the used IAM solution
• Connect application systems, directory services and cloud services to the IAM tool landscape
• Participate in conceptual workshops for the further development of the IAM
• Serve as the technical contact person within the company for IAM
• Maintain and expand the IAM systems, including corresponding documentation

Qualifications

• Extensive experience developing high-quality software in modern scripting and/or programming languages (Python, JavaScript, SQL, C++, etc.) and experience with third-party IDP integrations
• Security-first mindset and the ability to navigate complex software architectures
• Understanding of industry-standard security concepts and protocols such as SAML, SCIM, OAuth, OIDC, and RBAC
• Familiarity with information security frameworks, standards, and policies; keen interest in security topics
• Proficiency with IAM solutions (e.g., Auth0, KeyCloak, Okta, Omada) is a plus
• Commitment to continuous improvement, technical and operational excellence
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); German proficiency is a plus
