ROLE SUMMARY
  • Lead commercial development strategies for oncology pipeline assets, conduct commercial assessments, and support International Oncology strategy development and commercial attractiveness / valuations to pursue our international oncology vision, helping patients to live better and longer lives.
  • Act as a lynchpin between the International Commercial Office (ICO) and the Global organization, collaborating with teams across oncology pipeline assets including Commercial Strategy & Innovation (CSI) Global Marketing and International Cross-Functional Teams to strengthen and advance our Intl Oncology Development Portfolio and ensure successful launches.
  • Lead special projects to maximize the Intl Oncology inline and pipeline portfolio (e.g., launch excellence, patent expansion, business development, etc.).
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drive the success of our future oncology medicines from clinical development, registration, market access pre-launch and launch accelerations to post DP4.
  • Partner with Global Brand Teams and CSI to represent Intl, lead discussions in commercial development activities through decision points, strategy development, and investment priorities; support external BD evaluations.
  • Build pipeline early access strategies in collaboration with Medical Regulatory and Global Access & Value (GAV) colleagues, including pricing strategy, evidence/data needs for registration, to meet HTA markets and negotiate trade‑offs on global pipeline programs.
  • Ensure appropriate level of launch readiness in priority markets prior to in‑line transition.
  • Partner with the CI team to maintain an up‑to‑date view of the competitive landscape and potential threats across key areas.
  • Serve as point of contact for CSI and Global Marketing to represent International needs and category strategy for BD opportunity evaluations, incorporating regional and local market inputs and key customer insights.
  • Lead special projects to maximize the Intl Oncology inline and pipeline portfolio (e.g., launch excellence, registration acceleration, patent expansion, etc.).
  • Key contributor to commercial planning processes, including Operating Plan, Long‑Range Forecasting, Cross‑TA Pipeline Prioritizations, and resource planning.
  • Develop and manage early investment budgets diligently.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience in one or more of the following disciplines: commercial development, marketing, new product launch or strategy in pharmaceutical, medical device or biotechnology companies.
  • Strong understanding of the Oncology landscape and emerging trends is highly preferred.
  • Commercial experience / knowledge of global marketing, global clinical development and global regulatory processes.
  • Strategic / technical capabilities with a record of working with scientists and physicians in R&D to partner and facilitate technical strategy and clinical development decisions.
  • Demonstrated analytical and strategic thinking skills; hands‑on experience leading financial valuation, forecasting, business proposals and / or other related projects required.
  • Experience interfacing / collaborating with Global Marketing, Clinical Development, Regulatory, GAV and other functions.
  • Demonstrated leadership of cross‑functional matrix teams.
  • Skilled in market research methodologies and working with commercial partner lines (Market Analytics, GAV, etc.) to ensure delivery of efficient / insightful external guidance.
  • Enthusiasm, confidence and organizational skills to independently work on multiple initiatives and effectively prioritize to meet personal and team goals.

NON‑STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE / TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
