An international engineering and construction organisation seeks an I&C Construction Manager to lead on a major data centres megaproject in Germany. You will oversee site-based coordination across engineering, EPC, instrumentation, and subcontractors, ensuring interfaces and programme alignment.

The role focuses on installing instrumentation and controls, QA/QC, commissioning support, and handover activities. On-site presence in Dresden is required in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• Experience as I&C Construction Manager or similar site-based leadership role.
• Strong electrical, instrumentation or controls background with CAPEX project experience.
• Knowledge of PLC/DCS, instrumentation, commissioning and QA/QC in complex MEP environments.
• Able to work full-time on-site in Dresden.

A leading global engineering and construction organisation is seeking an experienced I&C Construction Manager to support the delivery of one of Europe's largest construction projects. This is a unique opportunity to join a high-profile megaproject, working alongside an international team to deliver critical infrastructure within a fast-paced, cutting-edge environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily coordination between engineering, EPC, tool installation teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on I&C scope, programme, and interfaces.
• Manage the installation and execution of instrumentation and controls systems, including sensors, transmitters, control valves, PLC/DCS components, cabling, and associated infrastructure.
• Drive quality assurance activities, ensuring calibration, loop checks, testing, and documentation are completed in line with project and cleanroom standards.
• Support commissioning and system handover activities, coordinating functional testing, contractor performance, and turnover documentation.

Requirements

• Experience in an I&C Construction Manager, Superintendent, Controls Manager, or similar site-based leadership role.
• Strong electrical, instrumentation, or controls background with experience managing contractors on major CAPEX construction projects.
• Knowledge of PLC/DCS systems, industrial instrumentation, commissioning, and QA/QC processes within complex MEP environments.
• Able to work full-time on-site in Dresden and operate effectively within a fast-paced project delivery environment.
