We are looking for an experienced Controller (m/w/d) to join our Finance & Controlling team, to build and develop Human Resources Controlling. Depending on the location of the candidate, we are open to filling this position at our locations in Italy (Riese/Cusano), Slovenia (Grosuplje) or Germany (Mühldorf).

How you will contribute

In this role, you will play a key role in the finance team and take over responsibility for analysing, planning, and steering of all workforce-related financial and operational metrics for both Business Units of SteelcoBelimed: Infection Control and Life Science. The primary focus is on the establishment of a strong Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) reporting across the board. You will ensure accurate headcount reporting, support workforce planning, and provide insights to management regarding synergies, staffing efficiency, and organizational scalability. You will work closely with the finance community, the HR community, the integration Project Management team (PMO) and the senior management. You will report to both EVP Finance of the respective Business Units.

  • Building, maintaining and further developing a unique source of truth for the FTE monitoring withing the Group (more than 2,000 people).
  • Responsibility for the overall monitoring of the FTE development for the full Joint Venture, in alignment with budget and business case assumptions.
  • Ensuring proper standardized tracking of actual and planned FTE.
  • Acting as a connector between the operational controllers, business leaders and the integration Project Management team (PMO).
  • Integrating and managing at Joint Venture level: deliverables, dashboards and progress reporting.
  • Presenting monthly FTE reporting and financial insights to senior management.
  • Developing new reporting and analytics (in particular on personnel costs).
What you need to succeed
  • Proven expertise in controlling with exposure to Human Resources, exposure to business operations is a plus.
  • Demonstrated success working within a group company structure in a dynamic international/industrial environment.
  • Experience collaborating effectively and managing financials with remote and cross‑functional teams.
  • Expert command of Excel (modelling/pivot tables) and large dataset automation.
  • Strong understanding of personnel cost components and FTE calculation.
  • Proactive, status‑quo challenging attitude.
  • Business fluent English (other languages a plus).
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or Business Administration or equivalent.
