My client is a global leading, environmentally focused solutions provider with offices in strategic locations across the world. They currently have an opening for a Human Resources Advisor or Business Partner to join them in Germany. This is a key role and you will lead the site as well as interact with other HR colleagues across Europe.

About you…

As a generalist Human Resources Advisor you will play a vital role in shaping effective and positive employment relationships. This is a hands‑on role where you will provide expert advice and guidance to employees and managers on a wide range of HR matters. You will support with handling complex disciplinary and grievance cases to playing a key part in organisational change initiatives, driving performance improvements and supporting employees with health and long‑term absence issues.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of HR and organisational skills and the role would suit an enthusiastic, organised individual with a desire to learn and take on new challenges in a variety of tasks whilst working in a constantly changing environment.

Some of the key responsibilities of the Human Resources Advisor include:
  • Coaching and advising line managers on all People matters.
  • Managing and progressing ER casework.
  • Providing support across HR projects.
The successful candidate will have:
  • Previous generalist HR experience (4+ years preferably).
  • Experience with HR systems, payroll and HR Databases (knowledge of ADP would be a real advantage).
  • The ability to work independently and initiate new projects.
  • Good MS office and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
  • Strong organisational, critical thinking and communications skills.
  • Fluent in English as well as German.
