GetYourGuide, a Berlin-based travel experiences company, is seeking a Head of Strategic Programs to develop and execute strategic roadmaps for a department. You will partner with senior leaders and influence decisions across the organization, ensuring alignment with the company’s mission and growth objectives.

The role requires strong strategic and analytical capabilities, excellent communication, and a proactive mindset.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of strategy or consulting experience, including tech companies.
• Proven track record leading complex projects.
• Strong stakeholder management with executives/board.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail and proactive mindset.
• Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.

Team mission

The Strategy & Corporate Development team's mission is to support the creation and execution of innovative strategies that will help GetYourGuide harness its competitive advantage. We have a seat at the table and are able to navigate between big picture views and an analytical mindset to enable our Management team to make optimal decisions to achieve our company's mission.

The Head of Strategic Programs leads strategic programs and initiatives, and supports our C-Level and senior leadership to execute against our strategy. This role reports to the Director of Strategy and Corporate Development and works closely with a specific C-Level and their department (e.g. Marketing, Supply, Tech) - best fit to a department and functional area to be determined in the recruiting process.

Your mission

• Support the development of our company and functional strategies and strategic roadmaps for a specific department identifying strategic opportunities, incompletions, and supporting the leadership team to drive alignment across stakeholders.
• Conduct and synthesize in-depth strategic analysis and gather market/competitor insights.
• Lead strategic projects e.g. to dive into new growth areas or improve business operations.
• Oversee Objectives and Key Results (OKR), Roadmaps and Quarterly Business Review (QBR) processes for a specific department.
• Organize and manage all high-impact internal and external meetings for the Executive of that department.
• Develop strategic content including presentations and communications with investors and stakeholders.
• Enhance information flow across the department, connect the dots with key stakeholders to improve operational effectiveness.

Your toolkit

• 8+ years of relevant professional experience, including top tier consulting, strategy, analytical roles in tech companies
• Proven ability to manage complex projects in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, especially with Executive and Board-level stakeholders.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and time management abilities.
• Highly attentive, proactive, and detail-oriented.
• Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluency in English is essential; fluency in German is a plus.
