GetYourGuide is growing its Berlin-based HQ team and is looking for an engineering leader to guide a cross-functional team across backend and frontend. You will own talent development, partner on product roadmaps, and shape technical direction in a fast-moving, data-driven environment.

You will foster a culture that thrives in ambiguity, drive high-quality decisions, and collaborate with stakeholders across the business to deliver impact for travelers around the world.

Your mission

• Lead hiring and performance management for a team of 6-7 engineers (senior to junior across backend and frontend), setting a high bar for talent and enabling engineers to grow and perform at their best
• Partner closely with your Product Manager in a highly collaborative setup to shape and deliver the roadmap, with strong ownership from the team
• Foster a culture that thrives in ambiguity, embraces experimentation, and continuously evolves based on learnings
• Lead architecture and design discussions, driving high-quality technical decisions across the full stack
• Champion an experimentation mindset, leveraging data and customer insights to validate ideas and iterate quickly
• Solve complex technical challenges pragmatically in a customer-facing, multi-service environment
• Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders across the business to drive impactful initiatives
