A global energy trading company is seeking a Head of Renewables Origination to lead its operations in Germany. The role focuses on expanding the company's presence in the German power market through direct marketing of renewable assets. Berlin, Germany | Full-Time | Hybrid Work Pattern
As a key member of our Renewables Origination team, you will lead our German operations by expanding and enhancing our well-established presence in the German power market. You will drive commercial growth by originating, structuring and closing opportunities with renewable asset owners, corporate buyers and trading counterparties. A major focus will be on Direct Marketing (Direktvermarktung) for wind and solar assets, alongside BESS optimisation and innovative renewable commercial structures. This role requires strong commercial acumen, the confidence to interact with a mature network of customers, and an understanding of German regulatory frameworks.
This will be a full-time role, owning the following responsibilities:
